Weight Loss

In the late 80’s and early 90’s 60% of the US population were at the "health risk cut-off". The latest measurement is the Body Mass Index (BMI). BMI is a measurement that takes into account a person’s weight and height to gauge total body fat in adults. Someone with a BMI of 26 to 27 is about 20 percent overweight, which is generally believed to carry moderate health risks. A BMI of 30 and higher is considered obese. The higher the BMI is the greater the risk of developing additional health problems. Presently 80 % of our population is at the "health risk cut-off", and that figure appears to be climbing. In spite of this knowledge we continue to get fatter and fatter each year.

Our American culture has developed a lifestyle of over eating, inactivity and smoking, which are not conducive to good health. Almost all of the magazines directed at the female audience have articles in them every month on diets and how to lose weight. In spite of this we are getting fatter and fatter each year. There is a great need for a simple inexpensive way to lose weight, because trying to break a behavioral pattern is very difficult, to say the least. If we could wave a magic wand it would be to take a pill that has minimal side effects and causes us to lose weight.

We asked our Doctors to come up with a solution, and they have developed an herbal tea, with a taste similar to Jasmine. You drink the tea twice each day, and gradually the weight comes off. In the process of purging the system, loose stools may occur. By making your tea very weak in the beginning and increasing the strength over time, you can overcome this inconvenience.
