within a private State Guest House reserved for foreign dignitaries and
high Chinese officials. No expense—or effort—has been spared
to make guests feel comfortable and at ease here. This exceptional building
was previously the US Embassy.
As you might imagine, only the finest chefs are selected for food preparation and service. Head Chef Wei Qiang, from the President’s Building in the State Guest House, is now the Head Chef for Yan Huang Clinic. He is highly credentialed and celebrated in Herbal Cuisine. Chef Qiang and his staff will prepare an eight to twelve course dining experience you will never forget.
Che Qiang and his staff have also consented to host and interactive class in the preparation of Herbal Cuisine. Prior to dining, one or two entrees will be prepared as demonstrations of technique. In keeping with Chinese tradition, the TCM special Herbal Cuisine encompasses more than food. It is a total experience designed to bring mind and body into harmony. Soothing music, attention to detail, the ambiance of the surrounding and their great historical importance, all combine for a pleasurable, healthful event.
