Keep your Passport, Visa, health certificate, entry
form, and baggage claim tickets readily available. Select a baggage cart
located near the baggage carousel, and collect your luggage for the short
trip to customs (follow the signs).
Once you leave customs and enter the Grand Hall, look for the tour guide with the sign Beijing Med Tours. We will gather there until everyone has been processed and we are all together again. Your bags will be taken to the bus for you. Occasionally you may have to take your own baggage cart to the bus depending upon the time of day and the amount of congestion. Your passport and Visa numbers will be collected from those of you that did not give us the numbers earlier (when you made your reservation, or on the plane). This will speed up the preregistration process. You may still be required to show your passport to the desk clerk at the hotel just for identification. After you have settled in there will be a light dinner, or snacks followed by an orientation.
